A grass field wouldn't fly in the Meadowlands. With two NFL teams, college and high school football games, a MLS team, plus other collegiate sports, a grass field would have been ripped apart.

They tried grass back at the beginning of the last decade. It was sarcastically called a field of "painted mud."

The problem with the turf is that it isn't turf! Put down some real turf instead of the carpet and play football the way it was meant to be played. The rug for a field they have in the Meadowlands is the only flaw of playing the Super Bowl there.
